Powered Air Respirator providing 140l/min flow rate for open head tops and a 120 l/min flow rate for face masks. Tornado Non-EX incorporates a blower unit supplying filtered air to the head top through a breathing hose, with the motor encased in a durable Polypropylene casing. A large selection of head tops classified to TH2, TH3, TM2 and TM3 are available. Tornado powered air respirators are compatible with the approved PF and TF filter range. The blower unit contains a minimotor powered centrifugal fan running at approximately 7000 rpm. A microprocessor calculates the power required to maintain the set flowrate and adjusts automatically. If the flowrate falls below the minimum, an audible warning sounds and an LED flashes.
